Advanced decision-support tools provide notifications at the point of care, increasing adherence to protocols for critical events such as identification for transport and therapeutic cooling. It seamlessly integrates data from bedside devices, hemodynamic monitors, and ECMO. The system generates complete electronic medical records, arming healthcare professionals with timely and accurate information. MetaVision fully supports the unique workflows of the data-rich environment at Rennes. MetaVision's adaptability and ease-of-use was another important plus. IMDsoft's long and productive partnerships with other leading French hospitals was a key factor in the hospitals’ decision, as was the fact that, unlike other vendors, iMDsoft offers specialized functionality for neonatal and pediatric units.
This means that some two hundred and fifty critical care beds across the three institutions will be using MetaVision. Centre Hospitalier Libourne (25 adult ICU beds already live) and CHU de Poitiers (88 beds currently in implementation) are the other two hospitals involved in the agreement: they plan to implement MetaVision in a total of some one hundred and twenty ICU beds. Rennes is the third hospital to have chosen MetaVision through a framework agreement with UniHA, a leading French public sector purchasing group.
